When I met Anita over 3 years ago, she was brand new at Duke Career Center. I came in wrought with job anxiety and jaded by the options in front of me. By the end of our first meeting, Anita had demonstrated genuine commitment to my long-term growth and inspired a new optimism in my outlook. I have since witnessed her capacity to build and maintain so many of these relationships with her students and many others on campus. Everyone who knows Anita has a deep respect and gratitude for her. She is incredibly creative, action-oriented and has an undeniable ability to pull people and initiatives together.

Since I graduated, Anita has supported me through many professional and personal fluctuations and I know will continue to do so!
