David Robertson

Anita is a unique blend between a mentor, a coach, a wealth of information and, most importantly, a lifelong friend. I met Anita during my sophomore year at Duke and throughout my entire Duke career she helped me hone my seemingly disjointed interests into a narrative and passion that helped me secure the opportunities I was most excited about. Some days, Anita was the cheerleader that helped me pick my head up when I was feeling discouraged, but other days she was coaching me through interview strategies and creating networking plans. As a first-generation college student, the intricacies of the professional world were something I was not exposed to, but Anita was patient and thorough to give me the confidence and skills to succeed. I cannot thank her enough for her help and could not recommend her more highly.
